Business Development Manager
Yorkshire and North East
Michael has a strong history of supporting SME and mid-market firms, with a specialist knowledge of complex debt structures and a focus on delivering exceptional service.
Some of Michael’s career highlights include a £4m FID facility to support recruitment for a Cheshire-based manufacturer and a £10m ABL for a North-East producer of cleaning equipment.
Julian has strong commercial lending experience, with specialist knowledge of the consumer retail, technology and media sectors. Career highlights include a £5m facility for social-first publisher Jungle Creations and a £10m facility for a digital freight forwarding start-up.
He was also part of the GapCap team, which was acquired by the Growth Lending Group in 2020, bringing with him first-hand experience of the transition from start-up to scale-up.
London and Midlands
Tom has structured and closed numerous transactions across London and the Midlands, including growth facilities, acquisitions and refinances.
Positive and motivated, with extensive experience in the ABL market, Tom works closely with the professional advisory community and has forged strong working relationships with accountancy firms, corporate finance, debt advisors, restructuring professionals and brokers – with the aim of being their first-choice funding partner.
North West and Midlands
A keen runner with marathons under her belt, Vicki loves escaping to the Lake District and is planning to walk all 214 Wainwrights. She is teaching herself (slowly) to play the piano and remains a 1990s indie girl at heart, forever praying that Oasis will reform.
South West and Wales
Kelvin has significant and broad sectorial experience, having supported numerous management teams and stakeholders with buy-outs, buy-ins, restructuring and scaling and has expertise in structuring complex, multi-asset class facilities.
He actively seeks to engage with external partners and funders to best-support the aspirations of growing businesses and in his spare time sports-mad Kelvin is a keen golfer, regularly plays tennis and enjoys skiing – as well as the après!
Head of London and East
When not trying to keep up with two very active children, Adam can be found in the gym, playing football or relaxing on the golf course. Motorsport is his favourite hobby, but he also has a passion for rock music and has recently taken up learning to play the guitar.
Still holding on to his aspirations of making it as a professional sportsman in some shape or form, Jack can often be found on the football pitch, tennis court or golf course, slowly coming to terms with reality.
Director: Debt Finance
Matt is a keen sports fan and enjoys playing football, cricket, golf and anything else he can turn his hand to. He also loves spending time with family and friends, particularly eating and drinking and the occasional walk – even better if the destination is a country pub.
Head of South and Midlands
Chris loves living and working in the beautiful south west. When not running around after his four daughters, he will have a go at most sports and outdoor activities – mainly to justify a busy social life. He is also an enthusiastic, if destructive, handyman.
Head of North and Scotland
Ryan loves heading into the Peak District with his family and friends for a long stroll, followed by a pub lunch. If he isn’t at the gym, out running or playing football, he’s kept on his toes by his two young daughters. That means more pub lunches are allowed, right?
Associate Director: Debt Finance
Outside of work, Becky loves spending time with her friends and family, especially if she is organising a party. When she isn’t jetting off on holiday, or cruising around the sea, you may find her singing a song or two.
Business Development Manager
Carl is a keen sportsman, although these days, he is more likely to be found in a soft-play centre or at a swimming pool with his young son. He likes to spend his time on the golf course or eating out at pubs with family and friends.
Rob is an invoice finance and asset based lending specialist with more that 17 years’ experience. He has been a Portfolio Manager for 12 years, looking after businesses across a variety of industries, with facilities up to £10m.
Rob has a wealth of knowledge in supporting business growth, as well as a strong understanding of refinancing, restructuring, turnaround, M&A and MBO/MBIs.
In his spare time he has a keen interest in sports, albeit largely from the comfort of his sofa or the pub. He also enjoys cycling and kayaking, as well as attending his fair share of music festivals and gigs.
Danni is a born and bred Londoner – and Tottenham Hotspur fan – who is happiest when spending time with her family and friends. She recently discovered a love of cooking and has mastered a roast dinner, although people who know Danni would probably not label her as quite the chef… yet.
Max Cheveley Grayson

Beginning his career in the hospitality industry, Max has since immersed himself in all things FinTech and has a Foundation qualification from UK Finance.
